Hi, I wanted to add subs to a video file I have but I don't know what to do. I have the video and I have a .ass file (I don't even know what a .ass is butI think it is a sub) so what do I have to do to sub my video?
Thanks.

Try Sub Station Alpha. .ass is a type of .ssa file. If not, other subtitle programs may be able to convert it to a more common format like .srt. Subtitle tools: https://www.videohelp.com/tools/sections/subtitle
