    I have some pictures in High dimention & resolution. I want to create a VCD with them. My problem is that as these pics are too high (1600) by 600 wide, the resulting picture is to small. Is there a s/w that can pan a big picture (jpg) from one side to the other resulting an mpg file or something else that can be used for VCD creation ??

    I think I've seen some panning filter for VirtualDub, but not sure.

    A higher end video editor like Ulead Mediastudio Pro 6.5 can do these effects to a motion video (pan over a still) but it will take time & effort to do it (it is not a simple, automatic process)
