hi all i have a 700mb avi file.... i want to covert in to mpg to burn to vcd using nero... but after like 10 hours of conversion... the file turn out to be a woooping 2G..... how am i gonna burn it to a standard cdr now??? thanx
i tried buring the avi w/ nero but after hours of encoding.... nero just shut down w/ nothing written on the disk... really need help thanx

Try using TMPGEnc templates to convert your video before Nero sees them.

well.... i've convert the avi file to mpg.. but the file is 2g in size.. i decided to give it a try anyways.. but nero said something w/ the bitrate.... sorry... i'm really new to this... can anybody tell me if there's a software that i can use to convert avi to mpg... without a big jump in side.. afterall i still need it to fit in a cdr thanx... my avi movie files are ranging from 650mb to 720mb

Did you convert using TMPGEnc? And have you ever tried the guide that puts one movie on one CD-R?
