Which way is better??
Capture to DVD Mpeg2 then convert to VCD
or capture to DV then convert to VcD

Actually capturing using uncompressed RGB or using Huffyuv (slightly compressed at roughly 2.5:1 and lossless) would guarentee the best results, but you need a massive amount of free hard disc space and is best done on an NT based OS such as Windows 2000 or Windows XP (virtually no file size restrictions) capturing to an NTFS formated partition.
