    Capture to DVD Mpeg2 then convert to VCD
    or capture to DV then convert to VcD

  2. More details! More details! What are you using to capture? What hardware? What software?

    And most important, have you tried searching the forums for any existing messages that might give you help? Try searching on the name of your capture card or program, and check the guides written by people.

    Actually capturing using uncompressed RGB or using Huffyuv (slightly compressed at roughly 2.5:1 and lossless) would guarentee the best results, but you need a massive amount of free hard disc space and is best done on an NT based OS such as Windows 2000 or Windows XP (virtually no file size restrictions) capturing to an NTFS formated partition.
    I agree with tomreedtoon in that you need to post more details on what resources you have available.
