  1. How do I get max. bitrate of DVD Player ? Is there some test SVCD ? Or MPEG file or any other method how to get this number ?

Of cource I can create many files by myself and burn many CD's (RW of cource), but is there less time consuming method ?

    Thanks.

  2. No, you have to make test files to find the max bit rate.

You could also check to see if your player is listed in the DVD Players section of this site. It will tell you what bitrates, formats, etc. others have played.

it's not that hard. use cdrw with different mpegs on an see the ones that don't play. use 4 20 sec clips. at 3000, 4000, 5000, and 6000.

  6. List of DVD Players: I did that already. Usually these information are missing. No luck there.

Trying : I guess that is the only option so far.
