Hi folks,
I am using Smartripper / DVD2AVI / TMPGEnc / Nero to create (X)VCDs from DVDs. This generally works great, I just do not get any subtitles that way. Is there a simple way to add one of the subtitle tracks from the DVD to the final MPEG-1 stream? Or if there is only a complicated way, which would that be? I am trying to avoid stopgap measures like in-between frameserving through VirtualDub or so.
Thanks for any help.
Robin

MPEG-1 and VCD does not support Subtitles, if I'm correct.
Frameserving with Virtualdub or Avisynt to add
permanent subtiles will work with VCD. -
the only ways i know of to add subs (hardcoded, permanet) is through a framserver
either vdub/vobsub or flaskmpeg
