conversion help borders?

hi I have an avi and i use to main concept mpeg encoder.. i encode the video to 352x480.. i play the file on my computer and everything is fine.. but when i burn it wit nero the top and bottom seems a little cut off.. my video has subtitles on the bottom so this is a problem.. the words r half chopped off hehe.. any ways the only way i can solve this is to use tmpg enccoder and set the output file as follows: center 352x480 but using tmpg to reincode the file takes too long.. is there any way i can edit the original avi file to squeeze the top and bottom a little closer together?

Use the custom setting in > Settings > Advanced > Video Arrange Method and then File > Preview
