I'm using dvd2avi to rip my audio but I've noticed the last few movies have had audio files about 1.2 gigs!, thus making me having to lower my average bitrate settings in CCE, maybe this is normal? all the other movie audio files I've worked with in the past have been pretty much all under 500 megs!.
Also noticed that when I drag the audio file over into senarist I'm prompted with "What kind of Oject do you want to create from Pan AC3 T01 2_0ch 192Kbps 48Khz" giving me two options to choose from MPEG1 or PCM Audio and AC-3 Audio, I have been selecting the AC3-Audio, is this right ??
Any ideas?
I thought of recoding the audio but I'm not keen cos I'm all for cystal clear sound quality.

you are for some reason extracting raw pcm data instead of the ac3 file ..

I agree with BJ_M, but I'll tell you how to fix it.
Click on Audio in the toolbar and select Channel Format. Make sure that Auto Select has a check mark by it by clicking on it. Most likely you have selected Linear PCM.
This happened to me and that is how I fixed. I hope this helps.
