I've tried this on a couple of DVD's and it works great, All you have to do is specify the amount of space to reserve for the extras on the disk and then at the end just use ifoupdate to merge the new vobs back into the original rip, this way it keeps all the original menus and audio, extras etc. The only problem i've found is it doesn't do subtitles but these can be done manually if required. I've done Blade 2 and The sweetest thing and they both work great. No more wrestling with Scenarist
Even the manuals is now in broken-english instead of just german
