Hello all,
I am doing some practice in between jobs with my (new) Sony PMW-EX 1...
I do know that the difference between (Full) MF is whether you can switch it to auto focus with one click or not.
Are there other differences between those two options? Reason(s) I should use one or the other?
Thanks for your input!

Nice camera. For the sake of clarity, you really ought to take the time to type out "manual focus" instead of just "MF," lest others think of another kind of "MF."
From DV Magazine:
"The focus ring has two positions. Pushed forward toward the front of the camera, it is in either autofocus mode or continuous manual focus, just like with any small camera. But pulled toward the camera in what is called full MF mode, this camera finally gives us a manual focus with distance indicators for professional-grade follow focus."
In other words, if you have preset distances (best for a quick rack-focus between subjects), you can use the distance indicators as your start and stop focus points, instead of just eyeballing the image.
