skipping VOB? DVD rip problem... need help please

Trying to rip Scorpion King with easy vcd. and as it runs, I keeps "skipping vob-id..." down the line untill it says there was a problem ripping the dvd... etc.
I have tried playing the dvd and going through the chapters but still no good?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

ripped scorpion king w/ smartripper no problems...try using another ripper...also, try cleaning the bottom (scratches, dirt, etc.. might cause problems)

could be your dvd drive I have a Liteon 16x dvd which is useless for alot of dvd it just won't rip all of them as it comes up with errors. I gave a 16x Pioneer and it has ripped every dvd I have tried. The Liteon fails on 30% that I have tried.

i've heard only good comments about the liteon drive...did you try upgrading your firmware? how about aspi?
