I'm in Australia & have tried the Ritek gold & have found them unreliable. I ordered 10 but received 20 (& was billed) in a spindle. Problably 20% have shown errors, with one disc with a smaller ID hole that would not fit on a generic holder, the disc surface was also marked.

I too am from Australia and am interested in where you obtain your media from. The cheapest I can find a dvd+r in Aus is $7.25AUD each for 100pack.

  7. Sorry Hex.
It was just a good opportunity to catch up with other Aussies.

davidc78 thanks for the site, but the $4.50 discs are -R not +R. but it looks like I can get +R for $6.20.
Unfortunately I live in Wodonga. So I will have to miss the Sydney Markets.

  8. $7.50 each !!??...and people are hoping that DVD R+ wil catch on.. I think not... I buy DVD-R for £0.88 each and you can get Bulkpaq for £0.44 each , although they are a bit unreliable (although the new Generation 3 are better)

  9. I have used HP (7 disks), memorex (8 disks) and Ritek (15 disks) DVD +R. I can tell no difference. I have had no problems with any of above. Using a HP dvd 200i to burn with.
I'm purchasing Ritek at present since they are cheaper $23 for 10 at RIMA
