    I re-encoded a file to make it fit on one dvd-r and remuxed with sound to get a .mpg file the file plays perfect I now want to get it into .vob format. What is the best program for this

    Don't remux the sound back in. You should keep the .m2v (video only) and .ac3 (sound only) files separate so that you can load them into a DVD authoring software (DVD Maestro, SpruceUp, Scenarist, etc) and have it remux them for you as it authors your final DVD.
