Help
ive downloaded a few movies and cant get them to play or encode.The computer is asking for an XVID codec does anybody know where i can get it?.

Ok so ive found the nimo codec pac and installed it.Playing well no but cant open it with virtual dub or tempgnc to encode and burn it.
Can anybody help with this problem? -
I have found the Xvid codec in some of the mirc channels that host movies. Packetnews.com has a search function, type in xvid and you should be able to find it

I've found less frustration with going to Target & buying pre-encoded movies already mastered to DVD with nice cases for just a few dollars each.....

to make backups, use a dvd disk(98% redution of audio sync, video quality, and other problems.
