I am having a major problem here...there is no sound coming from my dvd player at all. I have a sony dvp-s350 and it's two years old. It worked fine yesterday and i havent touched any of the cables for it in months so it couldn't be a loose connection. The video plays fine, but there is no sound at all. Is my player shot?

Classic sign of a scart lead that wants pushing firmly in.
Try it...its more than likely thats the only problem.
