I want to be able to capture video from my games that i play, mainly BATTLEFIELD 1942. I have a g4 ti4600 that has s-video output for my tv. I can't record from my tv, plus the quality looks bad. I want to be able to record from my agp vid card to a pci capture card. Is this a possibility and what card should i get? I need to be able to captrue intense graphic sceens, and would like the videos to be in avi format (easier for me to work with). I have tried camtasia but the video is choppy. I have an ADS INSTANT DVD singal converter but the output is mpeg2, not very easy to work with. I was also thinking that firewire is a great way to send information, is there software out there that would enable it to send the VGA moniter screen signal to a camcorder or something? Please help, this must be possible, check out the tv commercials for games.....pretty sweet, and thats what i want to do.
