  1. I have a problem with virtual dub. When I do a direct stream copy, not Full Processing mode, of the audio (copy the audio from a video into a wav file), it never saves all the audio. Example: I had a 32 minute video and it only saved 27 minutes of it. I can't do full processing mode, because it is AC3 audio, and i have to convert it to wave. how can i fix this problem or is there another good program that will let me strip the ac3 audio so i can convert it to wav myself. please help me.

    This should not happen, did you check the AVI for junk frames, any problems will cause the save to abort.

    Video > Scan Video stream for errors
    If it finds any;

    Video > direct stream copy
    Audio > direct stream copy
    SAVE AVI

    if it crashes use Vdub MP3
