I can create/play VCD no problems. But when I create (CLADDVD, TMPGE, VCDEASY, NERO) SVCD's and play them on my standalone Scan 2500 DVD player I get macroblocks on some parts of the film.
I am using the standard SVCD PAL (VBR 1600 & 1950) templates in TMPGe. The macroblocks can appear more frequently in some scenes when the SVCD is replayed. Do i need to use a higher MIN/MAX Bitrate?
I have tried other media to see whether this is the problem. Is there a Minimum/Maximum Bitrate levels that Standalone DVD players can handle?
Any advice would be great. Should i just go out a purchase a DVD burner?
