Stills from ATI AIW's MPEG2s

Hello there,
I've been trying to get stills from the MPEG2's I capture with ATI AIW card with no success. I can open the files after multiplexing in TMPGenc but TSCV always crashes when I try to edit chapters. It only happens with MPEG2s, works fine with MPEG1.
I've tried other software demos (like the Ulead's many ones) to open MPEG2s (remultiplexed in TMPGenc or not) with no success.
I want to use those stills to create intro and menu images for my SVCDs.
I'm using MMC 7.5. Anyone can help?

Can't you use the snapshot function of TV from ATI/VCR MMC (maybe is the File Player)?

Well, I forgot to mention that. I tried this feature but it just crashes!

im having the same problem:
can not capture stills with ati's mmc file player. i can however capture stills with the tv feature. the camera icon in the file player is greyed out and i can not click it.
is this common??
help please!
