Hey guys.
I hope someone can help me out with this little, but oh so enoying, issue. It seems like my Mustek 560 has trouble handling "Enhanced For 16X9 Television" DVD discs. When I play one of these on my _regular_ TV, NOT Widescreen, I can't get the right aspect of the film. If the film is in 2:35.1, it will be presented in 1:85.1 instead. I guess there should be a option for this in the setup meny but the only thing I've found was a meny called "tv type", but that meny is grey so I can't change anything in that meny...
Please helo me out with this, thanks![]()

I have the EXACT same problem with my Mustek Classic DVD102. All of my "widescreen" DVDs play in squished 4:3 instead of actual widescreen and the menu option TV TYPE that is suposed to change it 16:9 is greyed out! Right on the player's box it said "selectable screen aspect ratio" yet I can not seem to access this feature(and a few others i read about in the manual). If anyone has a way around it PLEASE HELP! thx.

Here is the solution for this problem (I fixed it just minutes after my post on this forum):
Start the DVD player WITHOUT any disc in the slot. Press Setup and go to the TV Type menu, now you should be able to change these options... Great huh !?
Oh, by the way. I bought a Widescreen TV just a few days back, so I don't really need to change this option ever again
Take it easy...- sometimes boards D0ES hit back...
