    Other than Asarte MPack and Media Pipe, is there anything that will allow you on a MAC, to convert a .MOV to a .MPG ?

    u can use toast titanium and quicktime pro to create valid vcd (mpeg-1) streams.

    I know but I want MPEG-2. Or at least I think that I do. After I have my .MPG file my plan is to create a .XML file. Then use VCDToolsX to make the .IMG files then Toast to burn a Multitrack XA mode SVCD.

    Quicktime and Toast make terrible VCDs. There are no options.
