  1. Trying to convert a divx-file to VCD I have normal audio but just a black screen. I have installed the DivX 5.0 bundle and I can watch the divx-file with the ati-player or windows media player.
Having tried VirtualDub I have the black screen as well. Is it possible that I still need to install a certain codec?
    Thanks in advance

  2. Have you tried giving the DIVX file a higher priority in TMPGEnc?

Did you install the latest version of the DivX bundle which of this date is 5.0.2? The problem your describing can be caused by using the older version if the file was encode using the latest version. You can find more information at: http://www.divx.com/support/

The Nimo Codec pack has the latest DivX 5.02 ... Nimo 5.8

DirectShow filters in TMPGEnc should be set higher if the codec's don’t help
