I have a sanyo dvd player, a dvd didn't want to play so I fooled around and set it from NTSC to PAL and now the screen is black and I can't get it back to NTSC because I can't see the menu, is there a way to reset factory settings through the remote? I've googled everywhere and I can't find any help.

Not sure if it would really help, but you might try unplugging the player (power) and leaving it unplugged for about half an hour or more (even overnight, if you prefer). That might cause the player to reset or 'forget' its settings, and revert to factory default settings.

Most often pictures of the menus can be found in the manual. You will need to blindly go through the menus to make the switch.

Your only other option would be to try and flash the firmware (assuming Sanyo provides player firmware and/or updates...many manufacturers do not). Check their website.
