I have a 20 fps avi and would like to convert it to 23.97 NTSC vcd, how do I do this without losing sync with the sound?
Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

Changing frame rate is never simple. But TMPG seems to handle it well. I don't know how exactly TMPG converts frame rate, but it gets job done. Keeping synch while changing frame rate, things just don't go any easier
I can't be very specific here, just some advice:
A. Encode video and audio separately, then mux them together.
B. If there is synch problem, try different A/V offsets.. or you may need to stretch or shorten audio to keep synch with video.
