  1. I sometimes use a small little prog called "AC3FIX" to process my .ac3 files and repair errors. However I recently installed "Anti Trojan 5.5.404" and it reports the cygwin1.dll file included with this prog is really a trojan!!!!!

Anyone have any more info about this?

Norton Antivirus had a problem with this file also (its used by windows and lot of programs) and was calling it a virus and deleting it ..

    that was fixed

but there is a new tojan called "movieworld" which is an explot and releated to irc movie channels and also movie downloads off pubs (ftp sites) (according to mcafee anyway -- looking at the files it looks like a pubstro setup is all i think) -- some of its components include CYGWIN1.DLL .. but that file in of its self is harmless - the "trojan" just uses it .. but it is a "signature" of a trojan that a antivirus and trojan program see ..
