Creating DVD from H.Q. MPEG (what is the best program?)

I want to create a DVD from a high quality MPEG file. Basically I used SmartRipper-Dvd2Avi-TMPGEnc to create an MPEG file. I've tried Instant CD/DVD but it seemes to take forever to load the file mpeg file into the program. The same thing happens to me when I use spruce up. I want to create my own menus i don't want the dvd just to play the movie. Does anyone know any program that would speed up this process i've only tried InstantCD/DVD6.5 and SpruceUp. PrimoDVD will not work with my DVD-RAM drive (matshita lf-d-311) so I can't try that. If anyone has any info that would help so much! thanks!!

Try Ulead DVD workshop or Ulead DVD moviefactory. Make sure you get the patches from ulead.com or the audio will be out of sync.
