Hi

My problem is that when I convert vob files or avi files to mpg for a vcd the final product is very blocky and speeds up (as if on fast forward) every now again and also the voices go out of sync every now and again.

I have a p4 1.8ghz computer with a sis 315 128mb graphics card. I am using cladvdxp to rip the dvd to my hard drive (also dvd2avi) and then tmpgenc to convert and cut and nero to burn. For the avi files, I just use tmpgenc and nero.

I would be really grateful for any help as I am totally baffled and have tried various ideas I have picked up off the forum and the faq's.
