I have just installed Winxp, and I have installed the new Winxp drivers for my Pinnacle card(Pctv 5.01 drivers).
But I can`t capture lager than 384x288, I had no problems capturing 768x576 with Win98se and the old drivers.
I have tried to turn off overlay and preview but it`s the same.
Please help!

I am trying to remember the exact issue, I think that Pinnacle converts to a crippled version in their app software. you can check out their support forum and look at all the unhappy posters. There may be an update on their website for the XP OS. I am using their PCTV card with XP and it has been interesting to say the least.

Hi..
first of all...the 5.01 version has been replaced by the 5.1 version.
Pinnacle drivers used to be crippled to a lower resolution...(they want you to buy the more expensive dc-10plus card)
Try these drivers:
http://btwincap.sourceforge.net/download.html
They are universal foer most BT 8x8 based cards like the rave.
Read the manual though.. !
Just replace the pinnacle drivers in config-system for these and capture with virtualdub at any resolution...provided your system is fast enough.
For best sound quality, use your soundcard, or the audio signal from a tv or vcr...for the rave has no stereo sound.
Tried it on a 1G athlon under 98 with lots of problems
Tried it on a dual MP1800+ under XP works perfectly from beginning.
Let me know if you have any further problems.
Greetz.
