i am trying to convert an asf file to avi and somewhere in the middle at the same spot it stops with the error :AVIoutput bad or missing Parameter"

what does that mean? how do i fix the asf file if there is anything wrong with it?

i tried to fix it using asfcut but no use. now i am stuck. how do i convert the asf to mpg directly without the avi in the middle?

any suggestions?
