How can I convert ASF file?

I've have captured stream from internet. So the file is ASF with following codecs:

Vid: WMV3 WMP v9 (VC-1 Simple/Main)
Aud: 0x0161 (WMA v2) 0x01:32000Hz 32 kb/s tot (2 chnls) 32 kbps, 32 kHz, stereo (A/V) 1-pass CBR

So I've tried many tools to convert it in mpeg or avi. And all efforts faild.

Any Video Converter - pretends to convert but after 1 hour no results just hangs at 0,3%
Vdub with plugin installed - converts in avi (MJPEG) but when playing it stumbles at 1 second with no movie after
Procoder - just a error

And so on

Please help me to convert this file in some other format

Try latest winff and xmedia recode and freemake video converter. And as a last solution SUPER(it contains ADWARE/SPYWARE).

The free version of TMPGEnc will open asf/wmv if you drag and drop and convert to mpg or avi.

Virtualdub will open the file if you have the wmv input plugin and DivX WMA Audio codec (or Directshow Input Driver) and save as avi or if you use the external encoder feature, it will encode mpg, mp4 or mkv.
