    How to tell what AR a DivX movie is???

    I got some real weird ones, and I want to know what to set the 'source AR' to in tmpgenc.

    If the DivX is done properly with correct aspect ratio, you should set Source aspect ratio to 1:1(VGA) in TMPG.

    This is normally automatically set for you, just load a VCD template, and make sure your destination is full screen > keep aspect ratio, for best results
