  1. i have 256 ram and 900mhz proc running on win2k and when i try to do this function my ram runs out and i get a blue screen stating my physical memory is being dumped.
    please suggest a solution... none of the vcd players i have used can play this .dat file so i have to convert it.

  3. If u refresh your page u should see an edit button on the top right
    hand side. There is a free program called vcdeasy that, in it's
    tools section, can convert a dat to an mpg. See the tools section
    on the left hand side

  4. I too suggest that you try VCDEasy. One thing to keep in mind though, I don't think either VCDGear or VCDEasy like making the conversion from a CD-R/VCD. You may need to have enough space on your hard drive to copy the DAT file from the CD-R/VCD. Then activate the conversion on the version that is on the hard drive.
