The audio in my Divx movies will gradually fall behind the video. I've tried 4 or 5 different video software players, so software is not the problem. I recently moved them to a new hard drive on the same CPU, and that's when trouble started. If I advance or rewind the clip, it works for about a minute, then gradually becomes out of sync with the video. The files worked fine before I moved them. What could it be? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!![]()

It could be that the AVI does not have many keyframes, if this is so the rewind/forward will cause problems with players. This does not mean its faulty.
It could also mean, playback is keeping sound playing, and skip frames to keep up. Copying from disk to disk should have no affect at all, but if you don't have the right codec's installed, another might play the AVI badly.
Try um.. Nimo codec pack.. I asume your new hard drive is faster and can keep up. -
Thank you very much! Nimo update fixed it. If you need any divx movies, king john, post back!

Hi
Glad you got it sorted, thats the trouble with codec's that are so much alike, they want to play everything going.
Search Kazaa for "DivX 5.02 Pro Inc" then you will have that as well.
