Ok. first of all im not a newbie i usually easily convert avi to mpeg2 for svcds with tmpgenc but recently ive had problems. Almost every avi i download from the net has this problem. When i load the file into tmpgenc it only uses the avi for video not sound and it says the file is not supported for sound. So i used virtual dub and saved the wav separelty but after i encode with the files all the avis come out with funky sounds. Usually the sound breaks and stuff. I was thinking whoever the original avi ripper was did the sound in bad biltrate but i have no idea how to change it. Any help is very appreciated.
