I have the newest version of Tmpgenc, I have installed the Elecard MPEG2 codec and player but I still can't open my mpeg2 files (from SVCDs) in Tmpeg!
It says format unsupported.
What am I missing?

Without knowing more about your setup it's a little difficult to give you an exact answer. As a work around I suggest opening the file in DVD2AVI and select save project. Then you can open the file in TMPGEnc by selecting the .d2v as the source video file and the .mpa for the audio. As for the Elecard MPEG-2 codec I have found it to be extremely buggy at best.
