Hello,
I'm a registered user of SVCD2DVD and I've got problems since I updated to the newest 2.5 version.
I'd like to make a Music DVD with MPEG2 files (single musicclips). I had done this many times before without problems but now... Let me explain: If I insert the Assets e.g. 1 Musicvideo (as MPEG2 file: file size is 65MB) in the VTS Layout the size for this 1 file is shown as 288MB in the newest SVCD2DVD version!!! In former Versions the size of this File was shown as ~118MB (Also other files are 4-times bigger!!!). When I click create your DVD in the newest version now the AVI2MPEG engine starts?!? In former versions this don't happen...only processing file and finish. This is bad for me because I don't have a former version of the 2.5 Engine anymore only a 2.1 Demo version. In the 2.1 it works fine with the same file. So anybody could tell me where I can find former 2.5 versions to test (Because I know that there was a earlier 2.5 Version that works fine without this problems.)
Maybe anybody can e-mail me a former 2.5 Version to Bluechip16@gmx.de
Many Thanks!!!!!

Post your log from a run that displays this behavior.

It is because the source files do not have DVD dimensions:
So in the latest vesion - it will resize the files to be DVD compliant... As you only have one file in the run, it is using the highest quality in terms of bitrate and hence the larger file size. If the higher file size and increased quality are an issue - you would add more files and use "auto fit". This would decrease the bitrate per file and so each file would be smaller - if this is your goal.Width=544
Height=576
Otherwise drop me an email and i will send you a build which doesn't reencode the mpegs to compliant DVD resolutions.SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
