    Hello helpful people,

I am unable to properly use my ASPI drivers I have downloaded and installed on windows XP. It says they have been installed and can run the diagnostic program which states they are resident.

But programs like VCDEASY and BPMSTUDIO are still unable to recognize and say ASPI drivers not found.

    Please help ---

  2. Hey dude,

Yeah, ASPI on WinXP and/or Win2K isnt just happening... but there's several ways to like "go around" that phenomena.

Have you tryed to do this on VCDEasy:

    Go to
Settings --> CDRDAO and under Force Driver selection box there is a link that says More Information. Hit that, and find youre recorder amoung the compatible players, then go back to the Force Driver "box" and select the one you found compatible with your'e player from the link...

Im not sure this helps you, as my English isnt the best I have to offer..

    Good luck anywayz!

    Rgds,

    Johnny B.

  4. I also have those problems. I still cannot get the aspi drivers to get recognized, but there is a caveat stating that you can still create the BIN file. You can then find documentation on how to create these BIN files to VCD.

Hope this helps some of you.

PS: Chiliryan, if you find out how they got recognized please let us know!

  5. I've been using ForceASPI 1.7. I'm running windows XP Professional, and things seem to be running great. VCDEasy recognized my ASPI with ForceASPI 1.7. Any other ASPI that i tried to install didn't work. Also try getting the program aspichk.exe, it checks to make sure your ASPI is working correctly and makes sure that all necessary ASPI files are present in your system. Hope things work out for you!
