I have followed all the instructions to properly convert my divx file to a vdv, however the final extension is .bin ( id on't know why the final extension wouldn't be .vcd) anyways i burnt it on to an imagation cd-r and my dvd player won't even read it. my dvd player (rowa) does support this kind of cd-r b/c i have tried it with other music cd's. I am burning a 120 min divx fiel so i broke it up into 2 parts. what do i need to do to get it working on my dvd player?

What type of file are you starting with AVI? If so use TMPGEnc, to convert the avi to a MPEG1 then use your buring software to burn a VCD... VCD's use a mpeg file fo play movies not a .vcd file
