ive only just started to use dvd2svcd , and i have only one complaint. i have been making backups of the star trek season 1 dvd's (43.30 mins per ep) it seems that dvd2svcd calculates the bitrates just a touch too high and tries to squeeze just a little too much video onto my 80 minute discs ,that means that bbmpeg is cutting the last 40 - 50 seconds off of each movie. also i dont like having to overburn the cdr's , as my dvd player doesnt like playing past about the 82 min mark on the (s)vcd's.
can anyone suggest a fix ? bassically i just need the finished mpg file to be a little smaller about 10 - 15 meg.
other than that , my results with dvd2svcd have been great.
sorry for the long post.
jason
