Still stuck with DV AVI

[finally]

ok - i am still having trouble converting my captured DV (pal) to a vcd

I have tryed to capture pal , ntsc, and nowt works....

i am using ulead video studio (is there a better capture proggy to use) and tmpgenc

The DV AVI when converted to mpg 1 will not play on my dvd player.

i have tested many vcds and they all work fine - my pc can play the DV converted vcd - just no my player.. i have made a vcd using ulead and tmpg and both give the same response. (they both work fine with movies - so it is just the DV AVI)

Do i need a plugin or summut for tmpg ?? anything obvious i am doing wrong or have forgotten to do??
