This question may seem quite lame, but I can't figure out how to get my subtitles appear in black boxes. These black boxes are background, to white text. Just imagine two black, horisontally stripes with black text on them. Hopefully you understand what I mean.
Now, Sub Station Alpha has no such "effect" or "style". At least I can't find it. All I can get is shadow and border along inserted text. No rectangular box/stripe/background.
I have VobSub extracted in VirtualDub/plugin directory where it acts filter. Let's say I open avi or mpg file and want apply TextSub 2.14 filter, or VobSub 2.14 it will ask for .idx and .sub files. Any idea what utility should I use to create these files? Create own subtitles, not riped from DVD.
I cant use transparency if I only have .ssa file.
Regards,
Uli.
