I RECENTLY DOWNLOADED JURASSIC PARK3.ITS ABOUT 400MB.IT PLAYS FINE ON MY COMPUTER,BUT WHEN I TRY TO ENCODE WITH TMPEG IT SAYS INVALID FORMAT.I TRIED TMPEG A,B,AND I.THEY ARE EITHER NOT SUPPORTED,OR JUST ENCODE AUDIO.I ALSO TRIED CHANGING THE PRIORITY IN THE ENVIROMENTAL SETTINGS.IF ANYBODY THINKS THEY CAN HELP,I'D LOVE TO HEAR A SOLUTION.

    I guess, you need the codec, that is used to compress the avi.

  6. U can try & download the older codec from http://www.doom9.net as I usually get crap using the newer one, dvix 3.11 alpha. This should hopefully sort out your problem.

    Check the properties of the avi and see what the resolution (352x240 for NTSC) is, which framerate was used, and which Codec should be used.
