  1. I try to make .mpeg file with permanent subtitles, so i have to use VDub 1.4.10 as a frameserver. I make the following actions:
    - Install Handler from AuxSetup.exe
    - proxyon.reg from "aviproxy" directory
    - when starting frameserver i save file with .avi extension.

    But TMPGEnc refuses to open this file giving error "...avi can not open, or unsupported".

    Can anyone please advise me what must be done to make VDub to be correct frameserver?

  2. Hi There !!!!

    I have had the same problem, but I solve it using Virtuel Dub ver. 1.4.9.

    So uninstall ver. 1.4.10 and try again, bet it works !!!!!

    I would consider using AVIsynth because it's faster. look under the subtitles guide by Truman:
