just tried to join episode two svcd ctp release and it drop the sound just after the main theme tune has played...i am using tmpgenc to join the files....i have watched the three original files and the sound is fine...it's just the outputted single file that loses the sound
Any ideas before i kick the pc![]()

Use Vcdgear to extract the mpeg2 files = mpeg to mpeg then and check fix errors box then join new mpeg2s with TMPEGnc

What I do when I get sound problems like that is I demultiplex the video and audio of all the files, then combine the audio files in a program like GoldWave, then convert the combined file to a 224 bit audio file in tmpgenc, combine the videos in tmpgenc like you did, then multiplex the audio file you just made with the combined video file, and it should work.

I've tried joining demultiplexed video files and they don't copy cleanly with tmpgenc or m2-edit. Are there any other alternatives out there?
