Joining a MP4 video and mp3 sound

I have an HD video (mp4) I made, with sound
I have an mp3 with better quality audio

Do I use AVIMux GUI to merge the mp3 into the video and am I able to also mute the original mp4 audio?

Other info:
I am recording drums and the video camera sound is awful
I have a nice recording setup with shure mics that I mix down into an mp3

Use Yamb or mp4muxer to both remove the audio track and add a new audio track the mp4.
