    I would suggest either a DVD-R capable drive like the Pioneer A04 or a DVD+R capable drive like the HP 200i.

    DVD-R is more established and the media and drives are more available and are cheaper, but DVD+R seems to work well also, and the burning speeds are slightly faster, especially for DVD+RW over DVD-RW media.

    It also depends on what drives/players you'll be using the discs with. If just a few it might pay to see what is compatible with them. If with both DVD+R and DVD-R then you can choose. If with one or the other, then your decision is already made for you.

    ill have 4 months to decide.
    here in Brazil the dvd-writers r very expensive yet(arround 800 bucks).
    ill go to Vegas in September and ill buy it.
