    I own the Philips 722 (actually I bought it reading the site's comments on DVD capabilities) but I'm not sure if it can play DVD-R & DVD-RW (it is not mentioned in the manual). As I'm planining to buy a Pioneer A04 (or 104) DVD-RW drive for my PC, I would appriciate if somebody having the same DVD player and have burned some DVD-Rs & DVD-RWs, to inform me accordingly.

    722 plays DVD-RW and DVD-R well.
