Using the (almost) excellent guide on www.doom9.org (DVD-9 to 2x DVD-5), I'm trying to go from a single DVD to 2DVD-R, using the latest IFOEdit 0.91. FWIW, I did notice that the guide was written using version 0.89...
All works well, until I get to Step 3: "Adjust the number of Chapters". At the "Enter new Value" screen, when changing the number of chapters in VIDEO_TS.IFO, the screen will NOT let me save the file! When I select OK and then exit, I get a "File Not Saved" warning, and the only options are "Exit" or "Not". I can find no way to save the darn thing. If I do indeed "Exit without saving", the program does NOT automatically save it. If I reload the file, the value is still the original number of chapters before the split.
Any ideas? Maybe I should try to find IFOEdit 0.89? Or maybe theres a patch for this one flaw? Or maybe I should take up a new hobby...
