    Uh... Whats the question?

    Are you asking if its possible to convert Divx to DVD? If so then the answer is yes. Install all the Divx codecs then convert using TMPGEnc then author with SpruceUP/DVDit/MyDVD/etc.

    i am sorry i meant to put a avi file on dvd-r and play it in a standalone player sorry about that

    No prob....

    Unfortunatly there are no set top players capable of decoding Divx. Even the 'play everything under the sun' set tops from Apex don't play Dixv. Nor do they have any plans too.

    But like I said in my earlier post. Reencoding Dixv to DVD is possible. If you have a DVD-R burner then go for it.
