I had a problem kinda like this when 'backing-up' the X-files Season4. It was only ripping some of the vob's, not all of them. All I did is the way I always do it. Pick where you want your output. on the left hand side of SR there is a files tab where you can pick what files to rip. Make sure the files you want it to rip are selected and hit start while in the files menu. Don't go back to the movie tab before hitting start, stay on the files screen.

    I hope this helps.

  3. hrm..can you be more specific on your problem? is it that smartripper thinks it's done ripping a movie..but it ends up that it only ripped part of it?

or is it that smartripper has an error when it tries to rip beyond a certain point in the movie?

the only problem i've had when smartripper ripped a movie (but not completely, even though it said it ripped completely) was "the animal." dunno why smartripper did that, but use dvddecryptor to rip it and was fine (be sure to goto options and enable multi-angle processing if you intend on using dvddecryptor)

if you get an error msg, try cleaning the bottom of the disc...there could b e stratches, dirt, etc..

btw....don't rip in "file mode" w/ smartripper as it does NOT remove multi-angles...
